Privacy Policy
Last updated: 07 Sep 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MuRayTech GmbH collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit this website. We have deliberately kept data processing to a minimum, and this policy describes exactly which tools we use, what they do, and the choices you have.
1. Introduction
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and handle it responsibly and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German data protection law.
This policy applies to this website only. It explains what happens to your data when you browse our pages, when analytics tools are active, and when you follow links to external services such as our careers portal. Wherever we rely on your consent, you are always free to give or withhold it.
2. Data Controller
The party responsible for data processing on this website (the “data controller” under the GDPR) is:
MuRayTech GmbH
Luruper Hauptstr. 1
22547 Hamburg, Germany
Email: info@muray.tech
Represented by the Managing Directors Kristjan Põder and Andi Hektor, and registered at the Amtsgericht Hamburg under HRB 199171. Full company details are available in our Imprint.
3. What Data We Collect
We only process the data that is necessary to operate this website and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. Depending on how you interact with the site, this may fall into the following categories.
Automatically Collected Technical Data
When you visit the website, our hosting provider and our analytics tools automatically process certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This data helps us deliver the site reliably and securely.
Usage and Analytics Data
With your consent, we collect information about how you use the site — such as pages viewed and general interaction patterns — through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. This is described in detail in the next section.
Data You Provide When Applying for a Job
If you apply for a role, you do so through our external careers portal provided by Personio. Any details you submit there are handled by Personio and are not collected through this website. See “Careers via Personio” below.
4. Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, services provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Tag Manager helps us manage and deploy tracking tags, while Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the site.
These tools may collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on the site, your approximate location, and your device, browser, and IP address. This information is used to compile statistical reports about website activity. Google may transfer this data to servers located outside the European Union, including in the United States, subject to appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.
For more information on how Google processes data, please see Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We only load these tools with your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), which you provide through our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by changing your selection in the cookie banner. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing the browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Hosting via Framer
This website is built with and hosted by Framer (Framer B.V., Singel 542, 1017 AZ Amsterdam, Netherlands). When you access the site, Framer automatically processes technical data that is necessary to deliver the website to your browser, including server log data and your IP address.
Framer acts as our data processor, handling this data on our behalf and under our instructions. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
You can find more information in Framer’s privacy policy at framer.com/legal/privacy.
6. Careers via Personio
Our job listings and applications are handled through Personio, a recruiting platform provided by Personio SE & Co. KG (Seidlstraße 3, 80335 Munich, Germany). When you click through to view a role or to apply, you leave this website and are taken to Personio’s platform.
Any information you submit as part of an application — such as your name, contact details, CV, and supporting documents — is collected and processed directly by Personio, and not through this website. That processing is governed by Personio’s own privacy policy.
Please review Personio’s privacy policy before applying: personio.com/privacy-policy.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data. You can exercise any of them at any time using the contact details in this policy:
Right of access — to confirm whether we process your data and to receive a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR).
Right to rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR).
Right to erasure — to have your data deleted where there is no legal reason for us to keep it (Art. 17 GDPR).
Right to restriction of processing — to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances (Art. 18 GDPR).
Right to object — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
Right to data portability — to receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to withdraw consent — to withdraw any consent you have given at any time, with effect for the future.
Right to lodge a complaint — to complain to a data protection supervisory authority (see Contact Information below).
We will respond to any request in line with the timeframes set out in the GDPR.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained for the period configured in our Google Analytics account and is then automatically deleted or anonymised. Technical server logs generated by our hosting provider are kept only as long as needed to ensure the security and stability of the website. Application data submitted through Personio is retained in line with our recruitment retention practices.
When data is no longer needed and no legal retention obligation applies, it is deleted.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the tools we use, in our practices, or in legal requirements.
The date shown at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your data.
